The whole shooting rant:
Sorry if this ends up being longer than intended but i just wanted to point out some things about the shooting caused by Elliot Rodgers.
So, i actually just finished watching the video of it because all i have seen on my dashboard is how the tag #YesAllWomen is getting larger because of this dumbass. To begin i just want to send out my prayers to everyone’s families, anybody who knew them, or just knows what happened.
Okay, so the first thing i did after i finished watching the video was look at all the comments and one of them actually caught my eye:
“I don’t understand how the feminist on here bash men when clearly four of the victims were men and two were women. So if the majority of the victims men why do you guys continue to bash men? Besides that this guy had a mental illness.”
To begin i don’t honestly think the kid had a mental illness and if he did, than i take what i said back.
Also, yes the victims of the shooting were mostly men, but what if he had actually gotten out of the car? He wouldn’t have shot men, maybe one or two, but he would’ve probably killed all girls on sight. Don’t fucking sit here and act as if he was going towards the men, he was going towards the woman who made him feel like a worthless piece of shit because i mean honestly, he is. Men always have something to say, yes we do too but we literally have something to fight against. All of you have rights and privileges, while we have to be cowards at how scared we are that we may be the next victims of a shooting because we are females, or a man coming up behind us and raping us because of what we wear. All of you who honestly believe this was right, that he had a reason, you all need to rot in lava because i would never wish for ANY men to be killed. Not one, unless there is a reason for it and his reason was as ridiculous as believing this was against men. So please, stay quite about something you clearly have no right to talk about.
